Quick Detail
Inconel 600 is a nickel-chromium alloy used in applications that require
corrosion and high temperature resistance. These nickel alloys are suitable for
use at temperatures ranging from low temperatures to high temperatures in the
2000 °F range. It is non-magnetic, has extraordinary mechanical properties, and
presents an attractive combination of high strength and good weldability in a
wide temperature range. The high nickel content in the Inconel 600 enables it to
maintain a wide range of resistance under reduced conditions, making it
resistant to corrosion from various organic and inorganic mixtures, and giving
it excellent resistance to chloride ion stress corrosion. In addition, it also
has excellent resistance to alkaline solutions.
